About the role#
This is a student work study position at Ellsworth Community College. You will provide tutoring for students in your target subject area. You are expected to work between 8 and 20 hours per week during the Fall 2026 semester.
What you'll do#
- Help students with their coursework through walk-in sessions or scheduled appointments.
- Coordinate your work schedule with your supervisor.
- Participate in tutor orientation and any required informational meetings.
- Submit your timesheets on time and ensure they are accurate according to the payroll calendar.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong technology and database research skills, with the ability to explain these concepts to others.
- Good people skills and a helpful attitude.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in your work.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow directions.
