About the role#
This position supports the Athletics department at Marshalltown Community College. You will serve as the first point of contact for the fitness center and help maintain a safe, orderly environment for students and guests.
What you'll do#
- Greet students and answer incoming phone calls.
- Verify identification for all guests entering the fitness center.
- Monitor the fitness, aerobic, and gym areas.
- Ensure that all guests follow facility rules and safety regulations.
- Perform minor cleaning tasks in the fitness center during your shift.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Eligibility as an Institutional or Federal Work Study qualifier.
- Willingness to work a schedule that includes both weekday and weekend hours.
