About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based on-site in Wichita, Kansas. You will work alongside permanent employees to support schedulers, dispatch groups, and production facilities. You will interact with commercial business partners and explore opportunities for company efficiency.
What you'll do#
- Create shipping orders and bills of lading for various products and transportation methods.
- Forecast customer demand, bioprocessing facility production, and inventory levels.
- Dispatch shipments with partner carriers and verify delivery details.
- Communicate production, inventory, and shipment forecasts to internal and external counterparties.
What you'll need#
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in or completion of a bachelor's degree program at an accredited university.
- Preferred majors include Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and a willingness to learn new programs.
