About the role#
The Corporate & Institutional Banking Undergraduate Internship is a 10-week summer program designed to provide hands-on experience within the Real Estate Banking division. Interns gain exposure to the deal-making process, including acquisition, construction, and permanent financing for various property types. This program serves as a direct pipeline for the Corporate & Institutional Banking Development Program. Participants work under supervision to support core business activities and engage in social learning, networking, and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Support the Relationship Team and senior management with daily operations related to underwriting, including portfolio administration, periodic reviews, and loan documentation.
- Assist with sales functions such as pre-call planning, client research, pitchbook preparation, and relationship reviews.
- Apply academic knowledge to drive business results in areas such as cash management, interest rate risk management, and capital markets solutions.
- Participate in internal projects and support the team with process-related tasks.
- Engage in professional development through mentoring, job shadowing, and networking with business representatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently working toward a bachelor’s degree in a business-relevant field, such as Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Marketing.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative.
