About the role#
The Corporate & Institutional Banking Undergraduate Internship is a 10-week summer program designed to provide hands-on experience within the Real Estate Banking division. Interns gain exposure to the deal-making process, including acquisition, construction, and permanent financing for various property types. Participants work directly with relationship teams and senior management to support underwriting and sales functions. This program serves as a direct pipeline for the Real Estate Banking track of the Corporate & Institutional Banking Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Assist with core group activities, including deal support, sales processes, and internal projects.
- Support underwriting tasks such as portfolio administration, periodic reviews, loan documentation, and prescreening.
- Help with sales functions including pre-call planning, client research, pitchbook creation, and relationship reviews.
- Participate in social learning, including networking with business representatives, mentoring, and job shadowing.
- Work under supervision to apply academic knowledge to drive business results.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, with a preference for majors in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Marketing.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2.
- Relevant skills and the ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a self-directed approach to professional growth.
