About the role#
Platform Accounting Group is hiring a Tax Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time position based on-site in Salt Lake City, Utah. You will work with our team to support tax projects and gain experience in professional accounting services.
What you'll do#
- Research and resolve technical tax issues.
- Gain exposure to complex U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for various business entities and individuals.
- Handle the tax return process with high accuracy.
- Assist with accounting services including bookkeeping, payroll, and sales tax.
- Collaborate with other interns to share best practices and procedures.
- Support client relationships by learning about their business and financial needs.
What you'll need#
- A major in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong technical skills in accounting and tax.
- High proficiency with office technology and software.
- An entrepreneurial mindset.
- A genuine interest in the accounting industry.
