About the role#
Platform Accounting Group is hiring an Audit Intern for our Salt Lake City office. This role is for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site and support our team with audit projects, compliance testing, and client documentation. You will work alongside experienced team members who provide mentorship throughout the internship.
What you'll do#
- Support the planning and execution of audit projects.
- Collect audit working papers and documentation.
- Research and document facts and findings.
- Interact with clients to ensure efficient information flow.
- Prepare workpapers to document completed tasks.
- Assist with the tax return process.
- Support the office in maintaining client relationships.
- Collaborate with other interns to learn best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Strong interest in a career within the public accounting industry.
- High performance in academic and extra-curricular activities.
- Strong technical skills in accounting and audit.
- High level proficiency with office technology and software.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments.
- Willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary.
