About the role#
The Portfolio Management Intern will support the team in monitoring and analyzing the performance of our grocery-anchored shopping center portfolio. This role offers exposure to asset management fundamentals, lease analysis, and institutional reporting processes. You will work directly with the team to maintain data accuracy and track property-level metrics.
What you'll do#
- Prepare weekly collections reports and provide portfolio-level insights.
- Track legal default calendars and assist with administrative follow-up.
- Analyze key performance metrics including sales per square foot, occupancy rates, and lease renewal exposure.
- Attend leasing and management meetings to document action items and track progress.
- Update SWOT analyses, market intelligence, and demographic data.
- Maintain site plans, tenant data, and property documentation.
- Support projects related to grocer portfolio analysis and joint venture reporting.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
