About the role#
The Leasing Intern will work directly with our Leasing Professionals to support the department in a generalist capacity. This position offers hands-on experience with the daily operations of a leasing agent, focusing on the leasing of grocery-anchored shopping center spaces.
What you'll do#
- Assist with due diligence and property tours.
- Conduct marketing and research, including developing broker lists and creating flyers.
- Engage in merchandising tasks, such as strategy and planning.
- Perform networking, follow-up, and prospecting duties, including canvassing and lead development.
- Assist with the Letter of Intent and lease negotiation processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program for Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Previous internship experience is preferred.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
