About the role#
The Leasing Intern will work directly with Leasing Professionals to support the department in a generalist capacity. This position provides hands-on experience regarding the leasing of retail space. You will participate in the full lifecycle of leasing tasks while gaining insight into the daily work of a leasing agent.
What you'll do#
- Support due diligence and property tours.
- Handle marketing and research tasks, including broker list development, flyer creation, and targeted mailings.
- Assist with merchandising strategy, evaluation, and planning.
- Conduct prospecting through lead development, canvassing, and social media marketing.
- Participate in networking, follow-up activities, and the negotiation of letters of intent and leases.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university degree program, specifically in Real Estate, Sales, Finance, Marketing, or a related business field.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with diverse groups, including senior leadership.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Previous internship experience and an interest in sales are preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship located in Park City, Utah.
- The role is on-site and requires 40 hours per week during the Summer 2027 term.
