About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Colorado Springs. You will gain hands-on experience in the health technology sector by supporting design assurance processes and regulatory compliance. This is an on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Manage and run laboratory studies to validate test methods and conduct design verification.
- Translate technical data from legacy products to meet current company standards.
- Perform risk assessments on products and drive design mitigations.
- Research industry best practices and analyze project data to provide recommendations.
- Participate in team meetings, capture minutes, and assist in preparing reports for stakeholders.
- Organize and maintain departmental documentation to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all work aligns with safety and regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO standards.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A desire to learn medical device industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site, full-time.
- Compensation: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, plus overtime eligibility.
