About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the Human Resources department at Philadelphia Gas Works. You will work on daily operations and support specific projects while learning how a large utility manages its workforce. This is a full-time, paid position for students currently enrolled in college.
What you'll do#
- Support the team with daily tasks and special projects.
- Maintain personnel records and job folders.
- Conduct phone screens for job applicants.
- Perform data entry and manage job postings.
- Help track applications within our system.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time college student with sophomore standing or higher.
- A major in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Strong communication, analytical, and computer skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with a specific focus on MS Excel.
- Experience with web conferencing tools like Zoom, MS Teams, or MS Skype is preferred.
