About the role#
Performance Contracting, Inc. (PCI) is hiring for a Summer 2027 Safety Internship in Boston. This is a full-time, paid position designed to give undergraduate students hands-on experience in construction safety operations. You will work with a dedicated mentor to complete a structured safety checklist and gain insight into how our corporate safety program functions in the field.
What you'll do#
- Learn the administration of the corporate safety program to minimize jobsite accidents.
- Participate and assist in safety meetings.
- Run safety-specific reports.
- Participate in Quality Assessment Reviews.
- Maintain accurate and timely project documentation and correspondence.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Construction Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable field.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
- A reliable source of transportation.
- Willingness to temporarily relocate for the assignment.
