About the role#
Performance Contracting, Inc. is seeking undergraduate students for the Associate Project Engineer summer internship. This program provides hands-on experience in the specialty construction industry through mentorship and a structured activity checklist. Interns work on real projects to develop a foundational understanding of construction management.
What you'll do#
- Write detailed proposals and perform bid analysis.
- Assist with quantity take-offs.
- Maintain project documentation and correspondence.
- Administer the corporate safety program to ensure job site safety.
- Collaborate with owners, construction managers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team.
