About the role#
WSP is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Power and Energy team for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. You will work alongside senior staff on real projects and participate in a 12-week program that includes mentorship and networking opportunities.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project research, field work, and preliminary design calculations and analysis.
- Support the preparation of final design plans, special provisions, and cost estimates.
- Collect and maintain project documentation.
- Complete training on assigned tasks and support a variety of engineering assignments.
- Exercise ethical decision-making regarding company resources and adhere to company policies.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Undergraduate or Graduate program for Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Minimum age of 18.
- Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship.
- Basic proficiency with technical writing, office software, spreadsheets, and engineering tools.
- Ability to take direction from leadership and communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

- Term: Summer 2027 (12-week program starting May 17, 2027).
