About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring engineering students for an internship in our Camp Hill, Pennsylvania office. This is a full-time, on-site position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
You will work on pre-construction civil engineering design, planning, permitting, and analysis for projects of varying sizes. Your daily tasks include using technical software to produce and quality check deliverables. You will also solve problems, assist project managers, and work with other disciplines to complete client projects. During this time, you will learn software programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS. You will also gain familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards.
What you'll need#
We are looking for students currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree from an ABET accredited program. Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, as well as Engineering Technology.
