About the role#
As an Industrial Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by performing the duties of full-time engineering staff. You will manage projects independently and provide technical advice for facilities performance. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Identify opportunities for improvement by performing ergonomic job surveys and analyzing operations.
- Review current processes to find better work methods.
- Create AutoCAD layouts and analyze operations.
- Evaluate downtimes to find ways to increase efficiency.
- Recommend, evaluate, and install new equipment and layouts.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student graduating in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.
- You must be pursuing a major in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, or Engineering Technology.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

This role is on-site at one of our production facilities. Locations include Austin, Minnesota; Faribault, Minnesota; Osceola, Iowa; Rochelle, Illinois; Dubuque, Iowa; McCook, Illinois; Barron, Wisconsin; and Suffolk, Virginia.
