About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in a retail sales environment, gaining hands-on experience with product distribution and business planning. This role is designed to provide you with meaningful work that impacts our business results while you develop professional skills in a corporate setting.
What you'll do#
- Add new products into distribution and expand the usage of existing Hormel Foods items.
- Build a business plan for your assigned territory and report your results.
- Work alongside sales and account management teams to secure new product placements.
- Receive training on our specific products, selling techniques, and business planning strategies.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student majoring in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Graduation date must be in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- You need the ability to drive a reliable vehicle in various settings and weather conditions.
