About the role#
This is a hands-on summer internship focused on food manufacturing. You will gain direct experience by shadowing full-time Team Leaders and working inside production areas. Expect to spend about 80% of your shift on your feet in the plant. This is a full-time position for the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist Team Leaders with the supervision of a staff of 15-30 employees.
- Review production processes to ensure they align with the current Process Specification Summary.
- Gather information to help optimize team and process performance.
- Document job descriptions for key roles and identify major accountabilities.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Administration, Agribusiness, Management, Industrial Management, or a related field.
- Graduation date must be in August 2027, December 2027, or May 2028.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must be open to relocation.
- You must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role. You will work approximately 40 hours per week, with potential for early morning or weekend shifts.
- Compensation is $24.50 per hour, paid weekly.
- The company provides housing assistance and relocation expense reimbursement.
- Potential locations include Austin, MN; Beloit, WI; Nevada, IA; Long Prairie, MN; Browerville, MN; Dubuque, IA; Rochelle, IL; Papillion, NE; Willmar, MN; and Wichita, KS.
