About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern role offers hands-on experience by supporting our operations team in Medford. You will work alongside experienced professionals to solve real business problems. This position is designed to provide you with a practical understanding of how materials, suppliers, and internal partners function within a manufacturing environment. You will be expected to contribute to business objectives in a manner similar to entry-level professionals.
What you'll do#
- Support the Supply Chain organization with a focus on materials management, procurement, and operations.
- Analyze business processes and assist with strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to projects that improve efficiency and drive business results.
- Build skills in data analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Develop a deeper understanding of the relationship between materials, suppliers, and internal partners.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related major.
- Strong academic standing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to learn new processes and concepts quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate with and influence others.
- Experience leading projects or team efforts from planning through execution is preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, or volunteer activities.
Location & details#
- Location: Medford, Wisconsin.
- Term: Summer 2027 (End of May through early August).
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
- Status: Full-time, paid internship.
