About the role#
As a Department Manager Intern, you will work directly with department managers to support factory operations. This role focuses on team leadership and process efficiency within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for overseeing team members and ensuring daily operations meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.
What you'll do#
- Manage factory team members and hold them accountable for their performance.
- Recognize and reward team members for their contributions.
- Monitor and maintain budgets related to labor efficiencies.
- Apply continuous improvement principles, such as Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing, through hands-on projects and team collaboration.
- Oversee daily safety, quality, and productivity requirements.

- Enrollment in a degree program such as Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
