About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience supporting product initiatives and launches across the Pella portfolio. You will work alongside experienced professionals to help bring products to market through messaging, marketing collateral, and customer-facing experiences. You will gain exposure to how products are positioned and marketed across different channels and customer segments.
What you'll do#
- Build and maintain product knowledge while serving as a product information advocate.
- Support product initiatives and launches across brands, channels, and customer segments.
- Assist with marketing materials including digital content, literature, video, displays, photography, and other customer-facing assets.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, Segment Marketing, and creative teams to ensure messaging remains accurate and aligned with strategies.
- Help support product positioning, target audience messaging, and product claims.
- Manage and prioritize multiple assignments while adapting to changing business needs.
- Communicate project status and progress with key stakeholders.
- Contribute to projects while ensuring accuracy and consistency across the Pella product portfolio.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
- Strong academic standing.
- Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, or involvement through campus organizations, work experience, athletics, or volunteer activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Adobe Creative Suite experience is a plus.
- Experience with Workfront or similar project management tools is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Pella, Iowa (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (End of May to early August).
- Status: Full-time.
- Compensation: $23.00 per hour.
- Note: Occasional lifting of materials up to 50 pounds may be required. A post-offer background check and drug screen are required.
