About the role#
The Operations & Supply Chain Internship offers a hands-on learning environment within a manufacturing facility. You will work on projects focused on material flow, workplace organization, and supply chain analytics. This role is designed to help you build technical and professional skills while contributing to real process improvements.
What you'll do#
- Assist with material flow studies to improve how materials move through the facility.
- Collect and analyze operational data to support decision-making.
- Build reports and dashboards to track inventory, productivity, and performance metrics.
- Support inventory accuracy initiatives, including cycle counts and warehouse improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
- Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and production teams to implement process changes.
- Support 5S projects by creating visual controls and participating in workplace audits.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related degree program.
- A cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week during the summer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- A detail-oriented approach to tasks.
