    About the role#

    Packaging Corporation of America is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-Op or Intern to join our team. Depending on mill needs, you may work in electrical reliability, electrical project engineering, or process control engineering. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Riverville, Virginia.

    What you'll do#

    • Support electrical reliability assignments to improve mill safety and equipment performance.
    • Assist with electrical equipment projects, including motors, lighting, valves, and sensors.
    • Use AutoCAD to update drawings and create project documentation.
    • Help process control engineers and technicians with troubleshooting and system audits.
    • Collect and analyze process data to support business decision-making and reliability efforts.
    • Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and operations staff to support safe project execution.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related degree program.
    • Completion of at least your freshman year.
    • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
    • Must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver's license.
    • Membership in the paper foundation at specified universities is preferred.
