About the role#
The Data Analytics & Quality Intern will work with the Intake & Agency Reporting team in Oakland. You will assist in optimizing management controls, work plans, and standards to support effectively managed work. This role involves implementing Lean Six Sigma and PMP methodologies to drive compliance excellence.
What you'll do#
- Support the development of a structured framework for measuring data quality and conducting analytics.
- Help the team identify trends, improve response accuracy, and strengthen audit readiness.
- Assist in fostering talent development in a cost-effective manner.
- Gain knowledge of the Electric Engineering organization by working alongside experienced professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- You must be continuing your education during and after this internship.
- A cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- EIT or FE certification is desired.
