About the role#
This internship supports the Enterprise AI Hub by focusing on AI strategy, risk management, and governance. You will work with technology teams and business stakeholders to apply your graduate studies to real-world AI initiatives. The position provides exposure to enterprise-level operations and the responsible adoption of new technologies.
What you'll do#
- Partner with business teams to identify AI opportunities that improve productivity and efficiency.
- Assist with AI governance, including policy mapping, standards reviews, risk assessments, and documentation.
- Evaluate AI use cases for business value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Research emerging AI technologies, industry trends, and specific utility use cases.
- Support strategic planning, AI roadmaps, and portfolio management.
- Manage AI intake, triage, and governance processes across the organization.
- Create presentations, reports, dashboards, and executive briefing materials.
- Maintain AI inventories and capability catalogs.
- Gain proficiency in enterprise tools like Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power BI, and ServiceNow.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a Master's program at an accredited institution.
- Academic focus in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies is a plus.

- Location: Tempe, Arizona.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Rolling term, 15 to 40 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Authorization: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship is not available.
