About the role#
This is a part-time PRN role for students currently enrolled in a cardiovascular or radiologic technology program. You will work under immediate supervision to perform diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians and your instructor. This position is on-site in Oklahoma City.
What you'll do#
- Perform diagnostic cardiovascular or radiologic procedures under supervision.
- Assist with diagnostic, interventional, and surgical procedures.
- Prepare patients for their upcoming procedures.
- Operate equipment and follow clinical practice standards.
- Maintain department records, reports, and files.
- Manage supply levels and ensure the procedure area remains clean and ready for patients.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited cardiovascular or radiologic technology program.
- A current BLS certification upon hire.
- Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Familiarity with diagnostic cardiovascular or radiologic technology procedures.
- The ability to operate equipment related to your specialty.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff and patients.
