About the role#
The Administrative Fellowship Program at OU Health is a one-year initiative designed to prepare the next generation of healthcare leaders. Fellows gain direct exposure to executives, physicians, and community leaders through a rotational model that provides the knowledge, skills, and professional network necessary for future leadership roles in the healthcare industry.
What you'll do#
- Engage in comprehensive leadership development programs.
- Complete structured rotations across hospital operations, specialized service lines, and corporate functions to identify and hone a leadership niche.
- Receive personalized mentorship from OU Health executives to support professional growth.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Completion of a Master’s degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), Business Administration (MBA), or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of hospital administration principles and practices.
- Familiarity with managerial techniques regarding office procedures and business communications.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective teamwork with hospital staff and the public.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to evaluate situations and determine appropriate courses of action.
