About the role#
The Human Resources Intern will work under the supervision of experienced HR professionals to gain practical knowledge and experience across the discipline. You will support the department by working on a variety of projects that contribute to the organization's daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist in salaried recruiting tasks, including organizing, preparing, and participating in job fairs and interviews.
- Create and maintain position descriptions for all departments within the organization.
- Perform HRIS activity, such as applicant tracking, reviewing resumes, and updating requisitions.
- Schedule and conduct interviews for both salaried and hourly positions.
- Support the company’s Affirmative Action Plan program through regular activities, processes, and audits.
- Assist with company training initiatives, including succession planning and performance management.
- Conduct research for various HR projects, such as compensation surveys and labor contract preparation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Human Resource Management or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- This is an on-site position based in Hagerstown, Maryland.
- The role is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
