About the role#
This is a paid, full-time, year-round internship with Pierce Manufacturing, an Oshkosh company. You will work directly with engineers and designers to support the day-to-day operations of the engineering department.
What you'll do#
- Create 3D models, 2D drawings, and electrical schematics using CAD software.
- Build Bills of Material for production and new product development.
- Draft Engineering Change Notices to release revised or new models.
- Help select materials for engineered parts.
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures, CAD procedures, and drafting standards.
What you'll need#
- You must be a student working toward an Associate’s degree in Mechanical Design or a related field for the duration of the internship.
- Experience with CATIA or other CAD design software.
- Ability to use and understand linear measurements in both Imperial and Metric systems.
- Proficiency in reading a tape measure and other measuring devices.

- This position is based on-site in Appleton or Neenah, Wisconsin.
