About the role#
We are looking for a student to join our team in Avon, Ohio, as a Human Resources Co-op. This role supports our Human Resources Business Partners by focusing on operations and key functional areas within our corporate and plant locations. You will gain exposure to core HR processes, data analysis, and employee engagement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Partner with the HR Business Partner team on client group initiatives and activities.
- Conduct performance management analysis and data analytics.
- Assist Operations HR leaders with daily HR deliverables.
- Process job offer recommendations.
- Support new manager assimilation and organizational analysis.
- Contribute to special projects, including merger and acquisition reviews.
- Help improve manual processes and support employee engagement opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- A major in Human Resources Management, Business Management, or Industrial and Labor Relations.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
- A high level of integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in HR.
