About the role#
Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan is hiring four interns for the Direct Investing team within its Private Capital division. This role is a four-month contract running from January to April 2027. You will work with investment professionals to support portfolio companies, evaluate new investment opportunities, and develop research on market trends. Interns gain exposure to senior leadership and attend weekly Investment Committee meetings.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and value existing investments.
- Evaluate new investment opportunities.
- Conduct industry research to support investment theses.
- Prepare internal investment memorandums.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a 2nd to 4th year undergraduate program in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
- Strong academic track record with a focus on accounting and finance.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong quantitative, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Enrollment in a co-op program or a plan to return to studies after the work term.
