    About the role#

    This internship position within the Capital Markets department offers a four-month experience from May 2027 to August 2027. You will work alongside investment professionals and recent graduates on the trading floor. The Credit team manages internal and external allocations to Credit asset classes, including Public, Private, Quantitative, and Structured Credit. This role is full-time and on-site in Toronto.

    What you'll do#

    • Build market analytics and run profit-and-loss and risk reports.
    • Conduct research and analysis for current and new investment strategies.
    • Participate in a term-length portfolio management case to develop investment skills.
    • Explore the work of other groups through networking and lunch-and-learn sessions.
    • Collaborate with portfolio managers on daily investment activities.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a 3rd or 4th year undergraduate program or a related Masters program.
    • Must be enrolled in a co-op program or returning to studies after the work term.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
    • Demonstrated academic excellence and a curiosity for financial markets.
    • Working knowledge of Python and SQL is considered an asset.

    • Term: May 2027 to August 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: $30 to $36 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
