    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Austin, Texas, as part of the Equipment Engineering team. This position is designed for students who will return to school or graduate at the end of the term.

    What you'll do#

    You will lead a specific project within the Equipment Engineering team. During your time here, you will learn about semiconductor manufacturing, equipment maintenance, and the standard fab way of work. You will also gain a clear understanding of the Equipment Engineering role. At the end of the internship, you will present your project results, your learnings, and the benefits of your work to senior management.

    What you'll need#

    You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering. A degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. You should have hands-on experience with electromechanical system construction, repair, or maintenance. We are looking for students graduating in December 2027 or May 2028.

    This role is located at the Ed Bluestein office in Austin, Texas. It is an on-site position. Please note that NXP does not provide sponsorship for this role.
