About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Austin, Texas. You will work on-site to provide electrical engineering support for the OHT and ATMC Central Plant and Fab facilities.
What you'll do#
- Perform electrical studies and engineering work for power distribution infrastructure.
- Design, specify, and estimate projects while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal electrical codes.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, EHS, and operations teams.
- Review bids, submittals, and contractor information.
- Assess infrastructure capacity, reliability, and safety to plan for system replacements or expansions.
- Help operations teams set up preventive maintenance, service programs, and standard procedures.
- Carry out projects focused on energy and cost reduction.
- Create key performance indicators to track facility system health.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You must be returning to school or graduating at the end of the internship term.
