About the role#
The Human Performance and Experience team at NVIDIA Research focuses on AI innovation through the study of human interaction. This internship explores cross-disciplinary vision science between humans and machines. You will work alongside research scientists and product engineers to bridge the gap between human vision, robotic vision, and computer vision.
What you'll do#
- Break down complex research questions into manageable, iterative steps.
- Identify research gaps and develop creative solutions to address them.
- Collaborate with product engineers to apply research findings to real-world problems.
- Lead efforts to share your work through conference presentations, journal submissions, or internal publications.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Ph.D. or equivalent academic program with a history of research and publications.
- Knowledge in Cognitive Science, Neuroscience, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, or C++.
- Experience with AI model training and evaluation frameworks such as PyTorch.
- A strong interest in gaming or human behavior within related application domains.
