About the role#
NVIDIA is looking for a research intern to join the Fundamental Generative AI team. This role focuses on developing generative models for image, video, 3D, graph, and multimodal data. You will also explore applications in science fields like structural biology, chemistry, drug discovery, climate modeling, and weather forecasting. You will work in a collaborative environment that values original research and real-world application.
What you'll do#
- Research, design, and implement novel, large-scale generative AI methods.
- Publish original research findings.
- Work alongside team members, research groups, and product teams.
- Transfer developed technology to product groups.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Electrical Engineering.
- A strong publication record at machine learning venues like NeurIPS, CVPR, ICLR, ICML, ICCV, or ECCV.
- Deep understanding of the theory and practice of generative AI.
- Knowledge in computer vision, 3D, NLP, or AI for science.
- Proficiency in Python for rapid prototyping.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of C++ and parallel programming like CUDA is a plus.
