About the role#
The EHS Engineer Intern will support site environmental, health, and safety initiatives to strengthen operations and ensure regulatory compliance. This is a full-time, ten-week internship based on-site at our Clayton, North Carolina facility. You will work alongside experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze EHS data.
- Update and maintain procedural documentation.
- Support EHS training programs.
- Contribute to process improvement and sustainability initiatives.
- Support adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
- Assist with Process Safety Management (PSM) activities, including developing process maps and drafting technical summaries.
- Participate in process hazard analysis efforts.
- Contribute to enhancing chemical safety across the site.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, specifically as a rising junior or rising senior.
- Preference for majors in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Safety.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word, plus the ability to use other Microsoft Office applications.
