About the role#
The EHS Engineer Intern will join our team for a ten-week summer program in Clayton, North Carolina. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support environmental, health, and safety initiatives. This role focuses on strengthening operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and advancing sustainability goals at our pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
What you'll do#
- Collect and analyze EHS data to support site operations.
- Assist with maintaining and updating procedural documentation.
- Support EHS training programs and contribute to process improvement efforts.
- Participate in Process Safety Management activities, including process hazard analysis.
- Develop process maps and draft technical summaries.
- Contribute to efforts focused on enhancing chemical safety.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree, preferably in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Occupational Safety.
- You must be a rising junior or rising senior.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above is required.
- Strong computer skills are necessary, with proficiency in Excel and Word and the ability to use other Microsoft Office applications.

- This is a full-time, paid internship.
