About the role#
As a College Financial Representative, you will build a financial planning practice from the ground up. This program mirrors our full-time career path, providing you with a framework to develop professional skills while you complete your degree. You will gain exposure to proprietary planning software and work alongside industry experts to help clients reach their financial goals.
What you'll do#
- Build your business by prospecting and networking to establish a client base.
- Create and execute a business strategy.
- Call potential clients to set meetings and identify their financial needs.
- Prepare financial plans and provide recommendations.
- Participate in weekly coaching, training, and development meetings.
- Obtain state licensing for life, accident, and health insurance.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student, with a preference for juniors and seniors.
- Interest in financial literacy and planning tools.
- An entrepreneurial mindset and curiosity about sales.
- Strong time-management skills.
- Active involvement on campus through leadership roles, athletics, or student organizations.
