About the role#
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Intern to join the Navigation, Intelligence and Connectivity division within our Global Supply Chain organization. This position is based in San Diego, California, and takes place during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Monitor supplier delivery and track associated financial performance.
- Interface with business operations stakeholders to pull and analyze key performance indicator data.
- Support business forecasting efforts.
- Extract, monitor, and validate data from multiple sources.
- Collaborate with functional stakeholders, including engineering, operations, and supplier quality, to reach business solutions.
- Facilitate projects related to supply chain initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, with plans to return to school in Fall 2027.
- A major in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Logistics and Transportation, or a related field.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2027.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
- A general understanding of supply chain principles.
- Experience or exposure to Power BI, Tableau, and Microsoft Office, specifically Excel formulas, pivot tables, and PowerPoint.
- Previous internship, co-op, or work experience, along with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

- Compensation: Paid position (Bachelor’s: $19.25 to $34.75 per hour; Master’s: $27.50 to $43.25 per hour).
- Travel: Approximately 10% of the time.
