About the role#
The New York Post is seeking a Decider Features Intern for the Fall 2026 term. This is a paid, part-time position based in our Midtown Manhattan office. You will work 24 hours per week from September 14, 2026, to November 20, 2026. This role is open to current juniors, seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates who finished their degree within the past year.
What you'll do#
- Research content for articles, lists, reports, and deep dives.
- Gather and edit digital assets like images, GIFs, and videos.
- Participate in content planning meetings and pitch ideas for articles and social media.
- Publish content directly to Decider.com and social channels.
- Assist the staff with covering entertainment, streaming, and pop culture news.
- Write and report weekly stories and SEO-driven articles.
What you'll need#
- Strong writing and editing skills with an ability to craft compelling content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
- Knowledge of WordPress is a plus.
- Excellent time-management skills.
- A background in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, Graphic Design, or Marketing.
