About the role#
The New York Post is seeking a part-time Commerce Editorial Intern to join the team for the Fall 2026 term. This role offers hands-on experience in e-commerce editorial strategy, brand partnerships, and data analysis. Interns work 24 hours per week on projects that support the success of the company's commerce content. This position is open to current juniors and seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates who completed their degree within the past year.
What you'll do#
- Research and identify coverage opportunities using sales data, performance metrics, and consumer trends.
- Optimize existing content by refreshing articles and affiliate links to support monetization strategy.
- Collaborate with commerce partnerships and social media teams to execute campaigns and shared initiatives.
- Use performance data and analytics to inform editorial strategy and identify growth opportunities.
- Write commerce editorial content to support revenue-based goals.
- Support editorial operations and team organization to streamline workflows.
What you'll need#
- A commercial mindset combined with strong organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in G-Suite (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides) and comfort with Microsoft Excel.
- A passion for e-commerce, digital sales, and building brand relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or Business Administration.
