About the role#
Hypebeast is seeking an Editorial Intern to join the publication team in New York. This role focuses on creating content across fashion, footwear, art, music, and design. You will gain hands-on experience in journalism and social media curation while contributing to the editorial output of the platform.
What you'll do#
- Research and write news articles covering contemporary culture.
- Curate, write, and schedule social media posts across all platforms.
- Analyze social media trends and audience engagement to help optimize content strategy.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to align social media posts with ongoing stories and features.
- Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to brainstorming and pitching new content ideas.
- Support operations and project management by maintaining project trackers and assisting with team communications for editorial and event initiatives.
What you'll need#
- A strong interest in contemporary culture.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies.
- Strong research skills and the ability to identify credible sources.
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Art.
- Prior experience in writing or social media management is a plus.
