Editorial Intern

About the role#

HYPEBEAST is seeking an Editorial Intern to join the team in New York. This role focuses on creating cultural content within the fashion, footwear, art, music, and design spaces. Interns will gain hands-on experience in journalism and social media curation while supporting editorial operations.

What you'll do#

• Research and write news articles on contemporary culture.
• Curate, write, and schedule social media posts across platforms.
• Analyze social media trends and audience engagement to optimize content strategy.
• Collaborate with the editorial team to align social media content with ongoing stories and features.
• Participate in editorial meetings and contribute to content strategy and brainstorming.
• Support operations and project management by maintaining project trackers and assisting with team communications for editorial and event initiatives.

What you'll need#

• A strong interest in contemporary culture.
• Excellent writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content strategies.
• Strong research skills and the ability to identify credible sources.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in writing or social media management is considered a plus.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or Art.
