About the role#
NEON is looking for a Design Intern for the Winter 2027 term. You will work with the design team on digital and print marketing materials, social campaigns, and visual concepts for film releases. This role offers hands-on experience with the visual identity of films from initial ideation to final execution.
What you'll do#
- Participate in team creative brainstorms.
- Contribute to creative concept development.
- Gather creative resources and references.
- Communicate with adjacent teams to collect information, resources, and assets.
- Support the creation of creative reference decks.
- Research and stay current on industry-related creative materials.
What you'll need#
- A portfolio demonstrating strong creative skills.
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a BA or BFA in design or a relevant field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Familiarity with NEON’s film slate and the role of creative marketing.
- Experience using workspace tools such as Docs, Slides, Gmail, Zoom, and Box.
- Ability to create decks and presentations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Interest in the intersection of design and marketing.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January 11, 2027, to May 21, 2027).
- Schedule: Three full days per week, 10am to 6pm.
- Compensation: Paid at $18.50 per hour.
- Status: Part-time internship.
