About the role#
The Catalyst Internship Program is a year-long initiative focused on researching and testing solutions for complex business challenges. You will work in small teams to explore new ideas and present your findings to corporate leadership. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional environment while you balance your academic responsibilities.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate in small teams to intake, research, and explore innovative ideas.
- Engage with internal teams to test and validate potential solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to project advisors and corporate leadership.
- Participate in internal innovation events to source new project ideas.
- Document and communicate project progress, outcomes, and learnings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
- Progress toward a 4-year degree in Business, Computer Science, Marketing, Journalism, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Sales, AD/PR, or related fields.
- An investigative mindset and a focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to research and digest diverse data sets.
- Strong writing and communication skills.
Location & details#
- This position is based in Lincoln, Nebraska.
- The role is on-site and requires 15-20 hours per week during the school year and 40 hours per week during the summer.
- The internship term runs from January 2027 through December 2027.
- This is a paid position.
