About the role#
CampusGuard is looking for an Instructional Design and Training Development Intern to help create cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance training. You will work with instructional designers, product leaders, and cybersecurity experts to build online learning content for thousands of users across various sectors. This role involves the full design lifecycle, from initial planning to final deployment.
What you'll do#
- Develop online learning modules, microlearning content, and instructional outlines.
- Create storyboards, learner interactions, knowledge checks, and assessments.
- Design graphics, visual assets, infographics, and supporting materials.
- Assist with video production and narration coordination.
- Review training materials to ensure they meet accessibility compliance standards.
- Support course packaging, testing, and quality assurance reviews.
- Research emerging trends in e-learning technologies, cybersecurity awareness, and adult learning strategies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, Communications, Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Interest in technology and learning.

- This position is located in Lincoln, Nebraska.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
