About the role#
Join our tax department for a paid internship during the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site in Lincoln, Nebraska, gaining experience at a publicly traded company. You will work alongside a team of CPAs and accountants, receiving mentorship while contributing to real business projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist with various projects in corporate tax and accounting.
- Support the filing of state incentive tax credits.
- Prepare income tax and other miscellaneous tax filings.
- Handle tax correspondence from various jurisdictions.
- Conduct business and tax research.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Accounting, Finance, or Law degree program.
- Intent to reach 150 credit hours to sit for the CPA exam.
- Strong skills in Excel, Word, and general PC use.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize your workload.
- Prior tax internship experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a desire to problem solve.
