About the role#
We are hiring a Manufacturing Intern for a paid, full-time position during the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site in Cleburne, Texas, gaining hands-on experience in production, quality control, and process improvement. This role provides exposure to the daily operations of a manufacturing facility.
What you'll do#
- Assist with day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Participate in production activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze data related to production metrics, efficiency, and performance.
- Work with safety, quality, and production teams on specific concerns or opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to expand your knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Shadow management and department staff to learn problem-solving methods.
- Perform hands-on learning activities as directed by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- A strong academic background with coursework in manufacturing processes or operations management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively with all levels of management and hourly associates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Physical ability to access all plant areas and lift 50lbs.
