About the role#
Join the Customer Experience team to help make specialty insurance easy to navigate. You will work with experienced designers and researchers to bring a customer-led perspective to business challenges. This internship provides mentorship and the chance to build a portfolio through real-world service design, journey mapping, and prototyping projects.
What you'll do#
- Create journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and visual storytelling assets.
- Use the CX Design System to keep the customer at the center of decision-making.
- Help socialize policyholder personas through training and design assets.
- Support agile design sprints, journey development, test-and-learn activities, and implementation.
- Interpret research findings and incorporate insights into experience design.
- Participate in user research, prototype testing, interviews, and requirements development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Graphic Design or Industrial Design.
- A portfolio demonstrating design experience, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Coursework or experience in design thinking and human-centered design.
- Knowledge of user-centered design, agile collaboration, and customer insight.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to projects.
- Familiarity with Figma or Adobe Express is a plus.
- Bonus points for UX portfolio work, service prototyping, canvas methods, or insurance knowledge.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- Location: Amelia, Ohio.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Modality: Hybrid, with approximately 40-50% of time spent in the office.
- Requirements: Reliable transportation for commuting to the office.
