About the role#
The Global Project and Alliance Management (GPAM) team within our Research and Development organization drives the discovery, development, and delivery of vaccines and medicines. As an intern, you will work alongside experienced project managers on real-world projects, gaining exposure to drug development, clinical strategy, and value generation. This is a full-time, 10-12 week internship beginning in June 2027.
What you'll do#
- Manage your time and prioritize tasks to meet project goals.
- Support project managers by preparing inputs for decision-making.
- Facilitate team discussions and ask pointed questions to guide strategy.
- Apply project management tools, templates, and processes.
- Contribute to risk assessments and the creation of risk mitigation plans.
- Communicate project updates, risks, and decisions to stakeholders.
- Act as a point of contact for project information.
- Compile and analyze data to summarize findings.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
- Lead an assigned project from initiation through to close-out.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Academic concentration in public health, life sciences, technology, engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, hybrid schedule for 10-12 weeks.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to connect project-level details to broader objectives.
- Capacity to bring structure to ambiguous situations.
- Ability to analyze issues objectively and define actionable solutions.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
